Here’s why "Safety First" is our watchword at Haslop & Mason

Rockwell Automation technology consultant Roy Plotz, who recently visited Haslop & Mason to conduct a training workshop, says, “Machine safety is very important for Haslop & Mason because of the industries they support, such as the tyre industry, the motor vehicle industry, glass and shipping.”
Roy assists Haslop & Mason and its customers with pre-sales support relating to Rockwell Automation products for safety, sensing and connectivity. He assists with risk assessments for companies, to determine their safety performance and integrity levels, and runs training programmes relating to the brand’s products.
“I travel quite regularly to deliver machine safety training and demonstrations at launches of new products,” says Roy, adding: “The purpose of the training that I do at Haslop & Mason is to upskill their sales force to enable them to deal with the sales of safety products.”
After his long association with Haslop & Mason, Roy is confident: “They are serious and professional about machine and plant safety and it’s a pleasure to work with their sales account managers, who really make you feel at home when you are on their premises.”
He adds, “You can tell the account managers and other staff love working at Haslop & Mason because most of them have been there for many years. It means I don’t have to start training them in the basics. In the years that I have been doing safety training, I can clearly see the improvement in the knowledge and comfort of the sales team when it comes to talking about safety.”
